Ah, look! A rabbit! Do you not see my child how beautiful and friendly
it is? Ah look, he's coming up to us.
There are many animals in this forest
that we are going through. Some walk, some swim, and others fly. Still others burrow underground, or live in the trees. When
you walk with me on this path, you will begin to observe the power of animals in your world.
Animals are your neighbors
upon this earth. They live with you, they share earth with you, and they often
live with you in your homes.
What’s that? Ah yes, the classic question. Yes, animals do have souls. Animals do have spirits, and they do go to heaven.
I find it amusing that there are still some people who do not believe that animals have spirits. All you have to do is spend time with them, and you will clearly see otherwise.
Animals are on earth to be
with you. Do you notice how so many animals have a trusting way about them? That is not a mistake. Animals are bestowed
upon you humans so you can get a glimpse of the way heaven works.
Does your dog not love you completely? Does you cat enjoy greeting you when you come by?
You are getting a glimpse of heaven in your pets and animal companions. They
come bearing love in a form that you do not find in other humans.
Some animals may appear to
be quite dumb, but they are smart in their own way. If you sit and watch a small
animal, you may observe how it thinks and how it works. All of life is spiritual,
plants and animals included.
Every living thing on your earth
has a spirit. Yes, that includes plants.
Plants have spirits too, as do animals. Likewise, each animal and plant
has its own guardian angel with them at all times.
Does that mean that animals are
always loving and caring? Of course not.
Animals have bad days as humans do. Many animals are not often friendly
and loving, such as the great white shark. Yet they have their own part to play
in the great tapestry of life.
You are probably wondering, if animals
and plants have spirits, then is it okay to kill them to eat them? I have no
view on the matter. Just like humans, animals and plants have a life plan, which
includes how they are going to leave the physical world and come back to the spiritual.
It is a fact of life that you need
to eat to survive in physical form upon your planet. Animals routinely "kill"
each other and eat each other so that they can continue to live in a physical body.
Such is the same with you humans, except that you "kill" (again, there is no such thing as death) other animals to
eat.
But there is no need to put these
animals through suffering when you end their lives. There is no need whatsoever
to put them through pain and suffering. It is my hope that humans can learn to
be more merciful to the animals that you "kill" to eat.
But in the end, animals have their
own purposes to be on your earth. One of them is to give humans a glimpse of
real love, an unconditional love that you normally don't find in everyday life. Your
pets can teach you much, if you pay attention!
All animals crave my touch. That is why in the end, all animals come back to heaven. If you have lost a beloved pet, know that they live on. Your
beloved childhood dog still lives, and still knows that you are there.
If you have shared a very special
bond with an animal, one of real love and caring, then you will be overjoyed to know that you will see that animal again when
you pass over. Animals who played a special role in a person's life often come
to greet that person when he or she passes over.
So enjoy your animal companions. Treat them with kindness and respect and they can reward you a hundred times over
with a little glimpse of heaven.
