As we begin our walk down this path,
let yourself think. Why have you come to me?
I know the answer of course, but trust me, it will be liberating for you to say it yourself.
Hmm…do you, on some level
or another, fear me? I am not surprised if you are. So many in the world today fear me. So many see me as less
then total love.
Does this sound familiar to
you? Everyone, at one time or another, has walked down the path of fear, the
fear of me. Perhaps you are walking on it right now.
There is a misunderstanding that
many have. So many see me as less then total love. This misunderstanding has been with your species for a very long time.
Many have realized that it is not true, and have turned from it. They
have found me, and I have walked with them down their own paths. I am still walking
with them now, every day of their lives.
What's that? Oh don't worry, I'm not going to leave you to walk with them! You
needn't fear that I am away from you for even a moment. I am everywhere at once. I am so great, so vast, and so big that it is easy for me to be everywhere, with everyone
at once.
How can I do that you ask? Easy. I am God! I am life itself. I am the wind, I am the sun, the moon, the
mountains and the sea. I am the grass beneath your feet, and the water which
you drink. I am everyone and everything.
There is no place that I am not, and there is nowhere my eyes do not see. You
need not fear that I am ever far from you, for I see you always.
How do you feel right now? Are you enjoying yourself as we walk down this forest path? If so, that's great! If not, then don't worry about it. Though we may have a ways to go, the path is not hard.
Its rises and falls are gentle and easy. There will be no hills or slopes
we must summit, unless you want to.
For this path is up to you. You may choose where we go. I do not
mind which path you take. The mountain is always in sight, and we are always
walking towards it. Hmm? You don't
want the responsibility? Now, now, dear one.
There is nothing to be afraid of. There are no hazards waiting for us. I am with you now. I will walk with you,
and be with you till the end.
If you ask of it, I will gladly
give you guidance and advice. My wisdom is fathomless, for I am the creator and
overseer of all. I have existed since before your world began. I know the value of patience.
*
You might begin to wonder who has
walked down this path before. It is only natural.
If you are wondering how many have taken the path you walk now, I assure you that many have come this way. Thousands, nay, millions of feet have walked the path that you now walk.
They are ahead of us. They are at the mountain, happily waiting for you to come. Who are they? They are men, women, and children. They are young and old. Short and tall. Smart and not so smart. They are happy and sad. They are calm and furious. They are Christian and Muslim. They are Buddhist, Hindu, Mormon, and so many others.
They are from all walks of life,
but all of them share a common goal, one that you now share with them. A desire
to know me, to be with me, and to walk with me.
The desire is the first step on
this journey that you are now taking. Desire is what pushes you towards
me. It is only natural. All things
have deep within them, a desire to know the creator of all. At one point or another,
the desire comes forth, and compels them to seek what they know they have known before.
For before you walked this earth,
you were with me. You knew me heart to heart.
Then you came to earth, and for a while you forgot about me. But now you
have followed your heart's call and set out to find me.
I knew that you would do so
eventually. I was watching you the entire time, my loving eyes waiting for you
to seek me. And now, here I am. You
have called, and I have come.
And now we walk together down
this path, towards wisdom and love. We walk together towards me, the path that
all life comes down eventually.
Is the path you are on now the only
one? No, it is not. Look around
you loved one! Do you see the paths in the trees?
There are many of them. Do you see the beings walking on them? You share a common goal, a common destination with them. All
of you are coming towards the mountains. All of you have different ways of getting
there, but the destination is always the same.
What's that you ask? No, no, there is nothing to fear about that loved one. You
cannot get lost on this path that you walk. It is clear and easy to see. At night, lamps light the way. During
the day, signs point you towards the mountain.
The only way you can become stuck
on this path is if you choose to. You are the only obstacle on this path. You are choosing to walk it right now, and that takes a great amount of courage. There are many who do not have the courage right now, to begin their own walks. Some are halfway there, but have given up and now sit on the path or off it. They do not want to continue on.
Some have not even gotten onto the
path yet. They remain at the beginning, looking at the paths, but they are not
sure which one to take, of if they even want to take one in the first place.
But they have nothing to fear. I am with every person, on every trail, and on every path. I will not abandon those who are stuck or afraid. I simply
stand by them, calmly and patiently waiting for the moment when they move on. Though
it may take a very long time, it will happen. During that time, I whisper to
them, telling them of the wonders and the love that awaits them on the path and at the destination.
Though the forest here is
big, it is impossible for anyone to be stuck forever in one spot. I love everyone
too much to abandon anyone. Even those you deem lowest I deem worthy, and I seek
them out.
Even those who do not want to move
forward, I do not abandon. In your terms, I have a search and rescue team, who
is constantly on the move to find those who are not moving on. When they find
them, they try to pursade these people that they can move on. The path is always
open, always there. It never closes. Even
after what you call death, it is always open, always available for everyone.
I want to tell you something very
important. It would be wise for you to take note of it. Perhaps we should call it one of the pieces of wisdom that I will give to you.
I
will never abandon anyone. God will never leave anyone behind, no matter what
they have done. I will always seek those who do not seek me, even if it takes
forever to do so.
Does that surprise you? If it does, then don't worry. We will talk about it later.
As we continue on, do you notice
how some of paths are branching off? How some are going into the forest beyond
your sight, where they melt into the trees and the bushes? From the point of
the people on those paths, you are going away from them.
But remember what I told you
earlier. All of these paths are going to the same destination. No one is superior to the others, though some are easier then others.
If, for any reason, you wish to
leave this path, you are free to do so. I will still be with you. All the paths in this forest eventually come to the same destination.
Some of them are more tricky then others, while some are more gentle and smooth then others.
For now, let us remain on this smooth
path, for it is one of the easiest ones. It is the path of love. It is the one trail that has not been walked on often. But
it pleases me greatly that more and more are beginning to notice it. You are
one of them.
Let's continue our walk, shall we?
